ECRE’s mission is to protect and advance the rights of refugees, asylum-seekers and other forcibly displaced persons in Europe and in Europe’s external policies.

• As an alliance of civil society organizations in Europe, ensuring cooperation among civil society and facilitating joint action in support of refugee rights is a core tenet of ECRE’s work.
